The beds were spacious and I had a great night's sleep; it was conveniently located just a short walk from the Brittany Museum.

Well-located hotel with friendly staff. Small, but very comfortable rooms. Fair value for money.
Only one inconvenience - there is nobody at the reception from 2 to 4 p.m.

Thoroughly enjoyed the French-style building and our tastefully decorated and great-sized room with comfortable beds.
It had small beds, maybe it was bad luck.

It is a great value property located in the Thabor - Saint-Helier district near the center of town. the hotel offers a perfect location in the heart of the city. 3. Have a drink at the bistro bar.

Attractive courtyard at back (smoke free). Convenient both for Republique (7 min approx) and Gare metro stations (10 min). Useful if you wanted to visit the Musee de Beau Arte. Mini market next door. Polite and helpful staff at reception (when there). Good coffee (didn't have breakfast).
The reception desk was closed from 12 midday to 5 o'clock. Pressing the "night button" meant we could speak to someone (in French, I think it would be difficult if you weren't a reasonably good French speaker) and then go in and pick up keys for a room. However it wasnt possible to get a code for the wi-fi until reception opened which was a problem for me. The room itself was a little tired and the shower was a bath extension that you couldn't stand under. Check out is 11:00 sharp.

Very pleasant welcome from the reception staff, who were also excellent on the phone when I called about the booking. Private parking space easily available close by.
Disappointed that it did not have a restaurant, although its web-site gave the impression that it did have one (it offers room-service). The receptionist referred us to rue St-George where there are indeed a lot of restaurants, but they were not of particularly high quality. We subsequently found many other restaurants equally close to the hotel but in a different direction.

The staff, who were exceptionally nice.
The room was getting a little shabby, and could do with refreshing, although everything was clean and pleasant.

Staff and location. Very friendly, and the room was clean. I had an interior room, and it was very quiet. I would stay there again.

Wonderful small hotel for one night. Amazingly nice staff, compact twin/double room. Lovely views towards inner courtyard. Marvellous and perfect location for enjoying restaurants and canteens close to the venue.

I like the fact that it is a city centre location, but the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. We have stayed here before and because it was good we came again.
Next time I will not have breakfast at the hotel as it was very expensive for what it was and even in Rennes you can fins better and cheaper breakfasts. The room I stayed in needed some maintenance eg. broken door handle, toilet flush and generally a little tatty in decoration.

Location is not far away from the town centre, and only takes 8 minutes straight walk to the train station. The staff is friendly and nice.
The room is a little bit dark, and the windows are closed and sunlight cannot enter the room.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
